The Casa Bosques location in México City represents an infinitely evolving vision for a sophisticated, yet humble way of living, and is at the heart of Savvy Studio’s expansive design and architecture portfolio. Inhabiting a single-family home, this multi-story building designed around a breathtaking courtyard was renovated in [2010 ] by Savvy studio, to honor the historical significance of the original colonial architecture while also exemplifying the Studio’s ethos of craft, attention to detail, and hospitality. 

Nestled in the quiet neighborhood of Roma Norte at the heart of México City, known for its galleries, restaurants, boutiques, and the creative individuals that inhabit them, it is a much-needed refuge from the frenzy of daily life. The front door, tucked behind tropical plants and trees, leads to a guest’s first impressions: a luminous space filled with books, and a warm face to welcome you. With the Casa Bosques bookstore and the Savvy design studio on the first floor, the Casa Bosques atelier in the courtyard, and the Pensión, the small, boutique guesthouse, upstairs, Casa Bosques Pension represents a new idea of boutique travel, where you are always welcome home.

Pensión es un proyecto profundamente personal que consiste de tres sobrias y acogedoras habitaciones ubicadas sobre una librería en Roma Norte, Ciudad de México.

Sobre todo, este es un lugar para hospedarse y sentirse conectado al centro de una comunidad íntima.

Cada uno de los tres cuartos en Pensión cuenta con su propia identidad en lo artesanal, habitada por objetos que relatan conexiones e interacciones humanas. El resultado es una colaboración entre Savvy Studio y una red entrañable de estudios, como Lips Atelier y Marrow.

La librería en la planta baja funciona como un espacio público y, a la vez, un lugar donde los huéspedes pueden convivir y perderse en el momento. Con Pensión, hemos construido un cálido ecosistema de conexión, hospitalidad y creatividad que busca generar asombro más allá del hospedaje.
